Meet Dr. Ahn

Hi, I am Dr. Henry Ahn. I am a strong believer of preventive dentistry. By educating and increasing the awareness, I feel that we can make a difference in our community to have healthy smiles for life. I graduated from University of Colorado, Denver in 1998 with B.S. degree in Biology. I pursued dental education in Boston University School of Dental Medicine and graduated with D.M.D. degree in 2003. I received a full scholarship from the Army during my 4 years of dental education, and after graduation, I served in the Army as a Dental Corps Officer from 2003 to 2007. My duty stations were Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and Camp Casey, Camp Humphreys, and Yongsan, South Korea. As an active duty, my service positions include: an assistant officer in charge of the clinics, a preventive dentistry officer, a radiation protection officer, an infection control officer, and a secretary of 38th Parallel Dental Conference. After the honorable discharge from the Army, I worked as a civilian contract dentist in U.S. Naval Branch Dental Clinic, Naval Medical Center San Diego, California from 2007 to 2008. My family moved back to Colorado, our real home, and I’ve been in private practice since 2008. I have a loving wife and 2 boys whom I adore.
